One of the most notable milestones under Mr. Nahdi’s leadership is the Group’s landmark acquisition of Bamburi Cement Limited, one of Kenya’s oldest and most established cement companies and the acquisition Mbeya Cement Company Limited, a key player in Tanzania’s 

cement industry. Both companies were formerly part of the Holcim Group, a global leader in building materials and solutions. These acquisitions not only marked Amsons Group’s formal entry into the regional cement market, but also elevated its status as a serious continental player in the construction and infrastructure space.

The acquisition reflects Mr. Nahdi’s foresight in pursuing value-aligned opportunities and consolidating strategic assets in high-growth sectors.
